Populations of all commercially exploited fish and shellfish are within safe biological limits, exhibiting a population age and size distribution that is indicative of a healthy stock.

Commercially exploited populations applies to all living marine resources targeted for economic profit. Fish and shellfish represent all marine vertebrate and invertebrate taxa including bonefish, elasmobranchs, starfish, crayfish, bivalves, molluscs (including cuttlefish, squid) and extended to also include jellyfish.
