“Policy and Decision Makers in dialogue”

The aim of this workshop is to bring together the main Greek MSFD decision- and policy-makers, to record their views and opinions with regards to MSFD Programmes of Measures and to assist in the identification of suitable and effective measures that can be applied in Greece for descriptors 5, 8, 9 and 10. This will be achieved through a participatory methodology that will include, i) the identification of the main gaps and needs in Greece as determined by previous work as well as by the participating decision- and policy-makers themselves; ii) an overview of suggested, possible measures that could be applied in Greece to fill the identified gaps and needs, and iii) the ranking and selection, through a set of predefined criteria, of at least 3 measures for each of the four descriptors that, according to the participating decision-makers, could be effectively applied in Greece. Therefore, the outcome will be four ranked lists of measures, one for each descriptor, showcasing the decision-makers’ preferences.
